consider this: imagine a world without religious beliefs and pure honest living. we are so consumed with rules and regulations we forget our own ability to make a convincing argument about what could be good for our soul. after all, what is the best journey if not for ourselves, in our own way.
life isn’t about living the best life it is about understanding what is right in front of you. we are often consumed with daily routines, life complications, worrying about the bills, the kids and work we forget to stop and listen. every night, my kitty lays on me and looks at me and i wonder what she is thinking but the truth is i think she is that reminder to take a moment, slow down, calm down and remind yourself how to breath.
do we appreciate all we have, do we for that moment think: “i am the luckiest person” – probably not. the reminders are the ones that take us back. we see a picture, a memory and remember the good we once had or shared. we all the chaos in the world, we forget what is important. people talk of mental health, depression, sadness, and most of the time when you see someone so happy, you want to slap the shit out of them ( that is my theory ) i watched a video yesterday of a lady who was complaining about her CPP being only $800 a month and i had to comment. if she is bitching about that, what those who don’t have those few dollars to speak of, the ones who work all their lives to retire and have nothing to show for it.
sometimes life can show you so many things you don’t even see. take that moment, realize that life is what it is and for some life never happens.
